Anum is a graduate student in the Pharmacology and Molecular Sciences Ph.D. program at Johns Hopkins. Her main research interests in the lab focus on neuropsychiatric illnesses characterized by impulsivity, such as addiction, and the environmental factors and neurobiological mechanisms which underlie and contribute to them. Anum previously worked as a Postbaccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) Fellow at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, where she characterized neurophysiological effects of drugs of abuse. Prior to this, she attended Loyola University Chicago, from which she graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Psychology.
